Amrita Rao had a wardrobe malfunction while shooting an item number for the movie Shortcut recently. "Amrita's blouse slipped off and all was revealed," said a source on the sets," and she was stunned and rushed off to her vanity van, bringing the shoot to a halt."

Co-star Anil Kapoor stepped up to handle the situation while the rest of the crew was struck all of a heap; and Amrita herself hid in shame. "Anil asked those gathered to ensure that the incident would not be talked about," said the source, "and he went to her in the vanity van and told her it would be alright."

Amrita came out “red-faced” after an hour of cajoling, when her discomfort began to wear off.

The choli, made by famed designer Manish Malhotra, was retained. We spoke with Amrita Rao who was still smarting from the expected revelation of her assets. “For me it was nightmare and I really don’t want to recall what exactly happened that day," she said.

"I’m thankful to Anil Kapoor who just handled the situation correctly,” she said. Amrita will also be seen in a bikini in Shortcut. "It's a good thing that didn't come off!" said the source musing, "or a bad thing, given how lovely she looked."
