Himesh Reshammiya starrer Radio already has created a buzz with its very contemporary music and certainly has become one of the most awaited films of the year. Radio, comes across as a film which has the background of music. However, director Ishaan Trivedi begs to differ, claiming it to be a rom-com with backdrop of the reality of radio industry.
So, has Ishaan stepped into Madhur Bhandarkar’s shoes with a hard-hitting film based on the realities of radio industry? Ishaan comes up with a ‘BIG NO’. He adds, “My film has radio in the background and has shown the realities of the industry in a subtle manner with the complicated love story of Himesh as a central plot.” He continues, “I have not stepped into Madhur Bhandarkar’s shoes. It certainly is not as hard-hitting as Madhur Bhandarkar’s kind of cinema.”
