Brief Biography
Element Eighty was formed in 2000 and released their first independent debut album in 2001 titled “Mercuric”. After promoting their albumand doing various gigs all over the state of Texas for two years, the band finally got a record deal with Universal Records and they released their second self-titled album in 2003. The band got great exposure due to this and they toured with many big artists such as Mudvayne, Slipknot, Korn and many more.

As the year passed by, the record label stopped showing interest in the band as they were not getting the kind of exposure that was expected from the band. The band decided to split after their third album release in 2005 titled “The Bear”.

The band split in 2006 and decided to form again in 2007 with much better ideas and music. They are currently recording their fourth album which is all set to release in 2008.
